Three dimensions of presence

We are pleased to announce Zieta Studio’s return to the 37th International Contemporary Furniture Fair in the heart of Manhattan. This year’s edition is particularly special, as Zieta’s metal objects will be presented in three parallel locations during New York Design Week.

Icons to sit on

Shades of black and bronze will also be expressed through classic seating pieces — the iconic Plopp stool, the world’s lightest aluminium chair Ultraleggera, and the increasingly recognised Chippensteel 0.5, recently featured in a fragrance campaign by Billie Eilish.

A metallic palette of colour interpretations

At the Javits Center, Zieta will present its brand booth (#920), featuring surface interpretations of gold, bronze, black, and copper. The Rondo and Tafla mirrors will reveal nuanced golden-brown tones through the language of wall-mounted metal sculptures.

Functional structures in metal

The booth will also feature the subtle and functional G-Console, alongside the increasingly prominent Echo Table, combining a steel base with a wooden top. A selection of Zieta’s signature metal vases will complete the presentation.

The evolution of the Harmonica concept

The base of the Echo Table originates from a series of “whispers”. Its internally pressurised structure resembles ribs or the bellows of an accordion. The table forms part of the broader Harmonica concept — a new direction in Zieta’s research into metal deformation, based on an additive method described as “air squared”.

A multidimensional presence: Zieta Illustrated

ICFF coincides with New York Design Week. During the 2026 edition, Zieta Studio, in collaboration with the Polish Cultural Institute in New York, will open the exhibition Zieta Illustrated at the Pilecki Institute in Manhattan. The exhibition presents a dialogue between Zieta’s metal objects and illustrated interpretations by acclaimed young Polish artists, and will run until mid-July 2026.

Zieta sculpture in New York

One of the key manifest objects of this concept is the Whispers Bench — a sculptural metal structure continuing the narrative between art and architecture initiated by the installation, unveiled during the London Festival of Architecture in 2025. Visitors to ICFF will encounter Zieta Whispers Bench in the Bespoke area at location #344.

We invite you to experience New York Design Week through the lens of Zieta Studio's presence.

Polish design and illustration in the USA

Both the fair presence and the exhibition aim to promote outstanding creators whose work defines Polish design internationally. This extensive platform for culture and creative industries has been developed as part of the project “Zieta Studio: Polish Design and Illustrations at New York City Design Week and the ICFF 2026 Trade Fair”, co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the Creative Sectors Development programme, implemented by the Institute of Creative Industries.
