The table like a London sculpture

Echo has shape and form. It embodies both repetition and uniqueness. It is a manifesto of process — a continuation of constant exploration and experimentation with the potential of metal at Zieta Studio.

Echo premiered in London

Echo was born from Whispers in London — a sculptural installation that resonated far beyond Ludgate Hill. During the performative deformation of the main sculpture, Oskar Zięta unveiled the first two Echoes — alternative articulations of the same form, the same FiDU process.

Art within the home

Echo continues the architectural narrative first introduced in Fleet Street Quarter during the London Festival of Architecture, while giving it a functional dimension. It brings the spirit of Zięta’s technological experiment and public installation into private interiors — transforming sculpture into an inhabitable object.

Metal and artistic glass

Echo maximises the function of an artistic manifesto-object. Combined with a handcrafted glass top, it becomes a massive yet “lightweight” base for Zięta’s provocative table design. It juxtaposes polished steel with a transparent surface, first showcased alongside the sculptural Steel in Rotation table base in Milan in 2025.

An audible dialogue between metal and wood

In the search for balance between artistic form, technological experimentation, and aesthetics, the metal base of the Echo Table enters into dialogue with a wooden tabletop. Cold yet ultralight steel meets warm, substantial wood — like fire and water brought into equilibrium. Together, they create an object with soul.

The continuous evolution of the Harmonica concept

Echo is part of the ongoing exploration of the Harmonica concept — a process made possible by Zięta’s “new method of addition”. The result of extensive research and development, this approach has expanded Zięta’s design vocabulary with the notion of function volumetricisation.

The art and precision of metal creation
In both artistic and arithmetic dimensions, Oskar Zięta quite literally raises air to the power of two in the function that defines the production process. A process made visible through sculptural objects such as Whispers, functional objects such as Echo, and lighting pieces from the Harmonica series.
