Poetics of the circle
Functional and artistic, the RONDO object expands the definition of a mirror. It is an inflated-steel narrative of its own design potential, achieved with the FiDU manufacturing technology.
RONDO—a high-gloss polished beauty of stainless steel enclosed in a rounded narrative. The irregularities on the surface are the result of material deformation by internal pressure. Convexities curve the reflections of light, adding a unique character to any space RONDO is placed in. Large-scale convexities on the surface individualise the reflections of the surroundings. Whether hanging or leaning against a wall, it grasps new contexts and introduces them into the space.
The poetry of colours
Depending on the size and finish, RONDO brings new concepts into interiors. Finishings from the Gradient Collection resemble cosmic wonders, which become a spark for deeper universal explorations of colour. From the classic Inox steel, through the glossy Aurum Collection, up to RONDO’s unravelled matte dimension in the Cotton Candy palette. Each and every finish is the essence of minimalist elegance and a contemporary approach to design and art, as Zieta Studio creates objects or, as we like to call them, mirror-like sculptures.
Curating experiences with light
Our exploration of light led to a natural fusion of illumination and reflection. This synergy gave birth to the Zieta LED Mirrors—hypnotic wall objects enhanced with integrated lighting. The power of steel forming
RONDO is a regular tribute to Oskar Zięta’s original method of manufacturing metal. To picture it simply, imagine two sheets of full circle skirt patterns made from stainless steel. Those two elements are precisely and tightly welded together, later to be inflated with high-pressure air into a three-dimensional object. Such a volumetric expansion, often called the “controlled loss of control,” is a manifesto of advanced parametric programming and the free deformation process of the material itself. This convex freedom results in unique deformations at the edges, which refract the light and create an unrepeatable impression of softness.
HELIX NEBULA is a manifesto of the artist's exploration of the relationship between the universe - matter - color. The transition between shades creates the effect of a smooth fusion of color from the edge of the object to its center. The colors are inspired by the trace left behind by a dying star - a planetary nebula. The glow of the nebula's cosmic colors is particularly intriguing as it appears differently across a wide range of light spectra, from ultraviolet to infrared, captured throughout different telescopic lenses.

Zieta Mirrors
Zieta Studio objects transgress the border between art and technology. They reflect Oskar Zięta’s research on the physical qualities of steel. The uneven surfaces with artistic deformations provoke our eyes, forcing us to look at reality from a different perspective. Optically subtle, they encompass a cutting-edge technique of treating metal in which sustainability plays a key role. They are sculpture-like mirrors and mirror-like sculptures.
