HELIX NEBULA

Zieta Studio Helix Nebula salone del mobile TRENDNOMAD

ZIETA’S UNIVERSUM

The longer and the more we uncover the mysteries of the Universe, the more hues and shades of it we discover. Combining the beauty of reflections of polished steel with the perceptual depth of optical treatments - we present the HELX NEBULA finish. The installation of three RONDO mirrors from the new series - covered with beautiful, and challenging colors of planetary nebulas.

These cosmic works of art are gigantic clouds made of dust and gases; the outer layers of a star scattered through the galaxy’s space 650 light-years away from the Earth.

Such technological exploration aligns perfectly with Zieta Studio engineering and conceptual studies. RONDO mirrors are the narratives about deforming flat steel elements into 3D forms and design processes. It is a deep story of coloring, material, and ultralightness - achieved through proprietary FiDU technology.

UNIVERSAL FASCINATIONS

New finishes enrich inox mirrored surfaces of RONDO objects. Helix Nebula gradient refers directly to the cosmic nebula colors. They expand the Transitions Collection, driven by Oskar Zięta's admiration for all things cosmic. The actual Helix Nebula's shades are the real impressions captured throughout different telescopic lenses. They are visible to our human eyes thanks to advanced space technology solutions including James Webb’s discoveries.

THE BEAUTIFUL DEATH OF SUN-LIKE STARS

HELX NEBULA is a manifesto of how the artist studies the relationship between the universe - matter - color. The transition between shades creates the effect of a smooth fusion of color from the edge of the object to its center. The colors are inspired by the trace left behind by a dying star - a planetary nebula.  The glow of the nebula is particularly intriguing because it appears differently across a wide range of light spectra, from ultraviolet to infrared. These cosmic works of art are gigantic clouds made of dust and gases; the outer layers of a star scattered through the galaxy’s space 650 light-years away from the Earth.

We can observe planetary nebulas evolve, expand, and fade over a period of decades. That provides a detailed picture of how dying stars spread their atoms and molecules into the galaxy.  Either scientifically or artistically nebulas fascinate us by colors, as a result, they wake emotions. This is how the Universe lets us create.

BOUNDLESSNESS OF SPACE

The combination of energetic colors has an extraordinary effect on the viewer, creating a strong, even vibrant colors spectacle. The intense coloring is accompanied by a feeling of harmony and purity of the form, which gives an almost hypnotic effect.  The created illusion gives the opportunity to move directly into the immersive boundlessness of space. The artist in a metaphorical way brings us closer to what is almost unattainable.
