What Is Physical, and What Is Imagined?
The Wall – New Anamorphosis has no single privileged viewpoint. Every shift in the observer’s position activates another version of the image — dependent on perspective, light, movement and surroundings. The physical encounters the imagined, while reflection becomes an autonomous reality.Here, FiDU moves beyond its material and structural function. The technology of forming metal through internal pressure becomes a tool for deforming image, space and the very act of seeing.
An Open Vertical Plane
The project takes the wall as its point of departure — an element that ordinarily defines the boundaries of space, but here ceases to be a limitation. The enclosed form becomes an instrument of perception, while its interior becomes a meeting point for architecture, object and image. Enclosed within it, Aberrator, viewed through a small opening, dissolves into a kaleidoscope of mirror-finished steel forms created using FiDU technology. The reflection does not reproduce reality; it takes possession of it, multiplying and deforming it.
A Space of Design Relations
Curated by Anna Olga Chmielewska and Małgorzata Szczepańska, the exhibition brings together ten interior architecture studios affiliated with SAW, each creating an individual installation around objects designed by Polish designers and produced by Polish manufacturers and craftspeople. The project explores space as a complex environment of relationships between people, objects and architecture — a place where form, material, light, proportion and function converge to shape experience.

The exhibition forms part of Interior Architecture Connects Europe, an international event organised by the Association of Interior Architects, the Faculty of Interior Architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and the European Council of Interior Architects (ECIA).
