Sejv Showcase expands Zieta Studio’s concept of storage objects into the realm of display. It is a showcase, a sideboard, and a sculpture united within a single architectural form. Crafted from stainless steel and glass, Sejv Showcase redefines the relationship between what is concealed and what is revealed.
Between storage and presentation
Sejv Showcase protects what is kept inside while highlighting what deserves attention. Its glazed top surface creates a horizontal display case for gallery collections and personal objects alike. It is a display object that does not dominate its contents, but rather gives them significance.
The taller, 83-centimetre silhouette of Sejv Showcase gives it a distinctive role within a space. The object becomes a frame for collections and treasured objects, creating a unique focal point. Its cubist geometry and light-reflecting steel surface lend exhibited pieces an additional dimension, immersed in a play of reflections and perspectives.

Sejv Showcase finds its place equally well in private interiors, galleries, showrooms, and representative public spaces. It can function as a subtle element within an arrangement or as its defining feature. Regardless of context, it creates an atmosphere of focus around displayed objects while remaining an integral part of the surrounding architecture.

Sejv Showcase embodies the principle of “less is less”, retaining only what is essential to function, construction, and expression. The result is an object that is both restrained and distinctive.

A balance of transparency and form
The architectural volume of Sejv Showcase is built upon a dialogue between steel and glass. Solid surfaces contrast with the transparency of the display case, creating a composition balanced between mass and lightness. The object preserves geometric clarity while opening itself to its contents.
Like all members of the Sejv family, Sejv Showcase is produced using FiDU (Freie Innendruck Umformung), the metal-forming technology developed and patented by Oskar Zięta. Two precisely welded sheets of steel are expanded through internal air pressure, giving the material volume, rigidity, and the characteristic edge deformations that define each object.
The signature of metal and light
The FiDU process leaves subtle traces along the edges that become the signature of the technology. Within Sejv Showcase, light becomes an additional compositional material. It reflects from the steel surfaces, passes through the glass, and shapes the perception of both the object itself and the pieces displayed within it.
Across all Sejv Showcase variants, the steel body retains the collection’s distinctive horizontal proportions while reaching a total height of 83 cm. This gives the object a stronger presence within a space and naturally reinforces its display function.
The Sejv drawer – discreet storage space
Every Sejv Showcase incorporates a drawer beneath the display area. It provides a practical space for storing objects while complementing the showcase function above. The drawer ensures quick and silent access, allowing Sejv to unite order, presentation, and everyday usability.
Sejv Showcase is available in various lengths and with optional integrated illumination within the display section. The object can also be customised to meet the specific needs of a project. Regardless of configuration, it retains its identity as a sculptural display object shaped by steel, glass, proportion, and technology.
