A sculptural approach to wall lighting
Kin is a refined steel wall object that seamlessly combines a decorative presence with the technical function of a wall sconce. Its polished metal surface, shaped by characteristic edge deformations, makes Kin not only a lamp but also an intriguing wall sculpture. Drawing the eye with its pure geometry and subtle play of reflections, it reveals its distinctive character — an object that not only reflects light, but also generates it.
A dialogue with the Oko mirror
The design of Kin enters into a conscious dialogue with one of Zieta’s iconic objects — the steel mirror Oko, whose organic form explores the relationship between reflection and material deformation. Kin adopts this idea and transforms it towards a luminous function. The circle remains a carrier of harmony and meaning, reflecting light and redefining the perception of space.
Light controlled with precision
An integrated LED panel offers Tunable White technology, enabling smooth adjustment of colour temperature — from a warm, intimate 2700 K to a cooler 6500 K that imitates daylight and supports concentration. Control is managed via remote or app, allowing multiple sconces to be synchronised into a coherent lighting composition. As a result, Kin can function as a subtle accent, a complementary light source, or a fully-fledged module within complex wall arrangements.
Lamp and sculpture
Thanks to its polished steel surface and distinctive FiDU deformations, Kin maintains a dual character: by day it is an expressive object with a complex structure of reflections, while after dark it almost dissolves into its surroundings, leaving behind clean, softly diffused reflections. This effect enhances the sense of lightness and positions the sconce as an object of light rather than a conventional luminaire.
A versatile lighting object
Kin has been designed for a wide range of interior settings. It can be connected directly to the electrical installation with concealed wiring, or function as a mobile object thanks to a transparent cable with plug. Its universal form makes it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, transitional spaces and staircases — wherever light is intended to guide and shape atmosphere.
