The inauguration of Zięta’s works in the company of exceptional plants will take place during “Sztuka w ogrodzie” (Art in the Garden), organised by M-KRZEWY from 18–20 September 2026. The sculptures will remain on view for the following two months.
Reflected Moments
Mirror-finished surfaces reflect the colours of plants and sky. They multiply moments without holding on to them. They capture fleeting impressions, prompting us to pause and reflect. Static in themselves, they appear to be in motion — changing with the light, the time of day and every movement of the observer.
Sculpture Among Greenery
Oskar Zięta’s artworks have repeatedly demonstrated how strikingly polished steel performs in dialogue with greenery. Zięta’s hypnotic sculptures can blend organically into the garden environment or become its distinctive spatial focal point.
The Colours of Nature: Corten and Black
Sculptures made of weathering steel or black steel create an equally distinctive aesthetic effect. The objects acquire a different visual weight. Rather than blending into the space through reflections and kaleidoscopic change, they enter into dialogue with it through their own materiality and colour, becoming part of the garden’s natural palette.
Zięta in the Garden
Oskar Zięta’s sculptures will appear throughout the garden spaces of M-KRZEWY in Żory. It is an opportunity to experience how different spatial forms, materials, and methods of display and mounting transform the relationship between an object and its surroundings. In a garden, sculpture is not merely an object placed in space — it enters into dialogue with vegetation, light, space and the movement of the observer.
Crystals — Futuristic Portals
Zięta’s garden installations take the form of freestanding sculptures, objects mounted on frames and miniature works. Particularly striking among the greenery are works from the Crystals series, which act like futuristic, disappearing portals — reflecting their surroundings while seeming to open into and simultaneously vanish within the space.
