Zieta Illustrated - Audio descriptions

The Zieta Illustrated exhibition is a meeting of disciplines. In one space, it juxtaposes Oskar Zięta's metal objects, deformed by internal pressure, with their illustrated interpretations. The space features haptic models of the objects, which bring their forms closer to the tactile world, while audio descriptions take an audible journey through the stories hidden within the artwork by renowned Polish illustrators.

The Zieta Illustrated exhibitione exhibition is part of a project ”Zieta Studio: Polish Design and Illustrations at New York City Design Week and the ICFF 2026 Trade Fair” co-financed by funds from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland under the Institute of Creative Industries’ program Development of Creative Sectors, and supported by project partners: the Pilecki Institute in New York and the Polish Cultural Institute New York.

The exhibition is part of NYCxDESIGN 2026 Festival.
