Rectangular narrator

TAFLA Q is a simple and purely intuitive geometric form of sophisticated proportions, and facilitates numerous arrangements. It changes the perception of space, visually dominating the surroundings. It is an art form resembling a futuristic obelisk.

Due to its size and character, TAFLA Q takes over the spatial narrative, reflecting the encountered plots in its surface. Standing or hanging, situated vertically or horizontally, TAFLA Q is a story in itself.

Simple form, advanced technology

Mirrors made with FiDU technology are a result of free deformation caused by high internal pressure. This process creates objects of great durability yet subtle structure. Just like the very first Zieta Studio mirrors, TAFLA Q is fully made of metal. FiDU technology brings out the true face of steel and creates objects of unique shapes.

Shades of symmetry

TAFLA Q is the simplest and slenderest version of the TAFLA series mirrors. It is available in two sizes: Q1 and Q2. It comes in the Inox finish, as well as in other shades from five collections, like deep colours from Transitions, the sophisticated Aurum, or the modern matte Cotton Candy. Each finish radically changes the optical weight of TAFLA Q, while reversing the context of the interior.

The QC - a personalised TAFLA

As the TAFLA concept is wide, we do offer a wide spectrum of customising. Besides TAFLA Q1 and Q2 we propose a special TAFLA QC with individually adjusted parameters. Please contact Zieta Studio's sales and design department directly, and let's shape your TAFLA's height. We will go together through a dedicated manufacturing process using FiDU.

Zieta Studio objects transgress the border between art and technology. They reflect Oskar Zięta’s research on the physical qualities of steel. The uneven surfaces with artistic deformations provoke our eyes, forcing us to look at reality from a different perspective. Optically subtle, they encompass a cutting-edge technique of treating metal in which sustainability plays a key role. They are sculpture-like mirrors and mirror-like sculptures. Tafla Family

TAFLA metal mirrors come in numerous shapes and sizes: from large round mirrors to geometric smaller sculptural forms. TAFLA O, TAFLA C and TAFLA Q are artistic variations of the same concept of creating a decorative sculptural mirror out of inflated steel using the FiDU technology. Some of them are characterized by a minimalist simplicity and respect for proportions, while some are distinguished by a soft line of organic form. There is such a diversity that arranging them together is reminiscent of storytelling. Will it be a story of water drops or pieces of shattered glass immortalized on the wall? It is a question of space and imagination.

Tafla mirrors are a series of common geometric forms with a sophisticated twist. Their bionic shapes were inspired by drops of water, piles of stones, pieces of wood and shards of rock. They can be arranged in multiple sets that give another dimension to an interior and create a unique story on the wall.
