Oskar Zięta’s interdisciplinary pursuits seamlessly merge design, art, engineering, and bionics. Inspired by constructivism, Zięta once questioned what a world of bionic metal structures might look like when harnessing the potential of new technologies. Today, Wired magazine hails his creations as “furniture of the future.” His design and artistic achievements have garnered numerous prestigious accolades, and his works are housed in museums worldwide, including the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
The “New Metal Meanings” exhibition at SAS Ambiance Design Studio took place from 19 to 30 May 2025. A private opening for a select group of distinguished guests was graced by the presence of the artist himself, Oskar Zięta, who dove into the waters of interpretations of metal meanings.
