WIR

This public sculpture, designed by Oskar Zięta, stands at the very centre of Galeria Północna in Warsaw. It’s the tallest sculpture in Warsaw and the first manifesto of FiDU technology made on such a scale. Its unique, steel form is a fusion of contemporary art with architecture and parametric design.

TAJDO

Tajdo is an open-work sculpture located in the iconic Raffles Europejski Hotel in Warsaw – formerly Hotel Europejski (The European Hotel), a historic luxury hotel designed by Enrico Marconi, opened in 1857 and reconstructed in 2018. It was an important centre on the map of the social and artistic life of the 19th Polish capital.

FINGERPRINT

The form of the sculpture was designed using parametric tools to fully control the process of adjusting it to the existing space. It was installed on-site, so the biggest challenge was to cut each of the 29 individual profiles perfectly even to the wall plane, while maintaining the designed shape of the sculpture.

Zieta Studio

We do not follow trends, we create them. We tell our stories made of steel, basing our work on a controlled loss of control. Barely noticing the border between art and design, we create self-expressed objects, not just furniture. Our philosophy is reflected in metal surfaces that are never exactly the same. We translate curvatures into uniqueness. We invest them with meanings. Although driven by the prevalent craving for flawlessness, we embrace blemishes to create elements for spaces ready to challenge the future.

Creative mind
Founder Oskar Zięta

Oskar Zięta
A Polish sculptor 4.0 and 4.0 blacksmith, who uses air and parametric instead of chisel and anvil. He works with metal in its widest definition, being responsible for the complete creation and manufacturing process but without a full control of it. Sounds paradoxical? In a way it is such, Oskar calls it “controlled loss of control". This slogan for more than a decade is a fuel for his highly performative studio and himself.
