The HEAT collection was created in cooperation with Rossana Orlandi Gallery. The HEAT uses high temperature as a rarely used method of steel coloring. Excellent craftsmanship allows to achieve the desired tint and colouring, it brings out the hidden beauty of metal without the use of chemical dyes and reagents. Zieta at Rossana Orlandi Gallery will show this collection for the very first time during Salone del Mobile 2018.
Born in flames
All objects from our collection are the result of experiments on shaping steel with compressed air and the extraction of the natural beauty of deformation. The matter of steel itself and the nobility of the materials we work with lead us to the bottom-up design process. Thermal color extraction is the embodiment of the philosophy of process design and the search for natural emotions and beauty in the process. All the objects will be shown by Zieta at Rossana Orlandi Gallery.
Hidden colors of steel
Chippensteel – a chair of unique, inflated shape that went through the process of manual technique of thermal coloring, which brings out the hidden colors of steel.
Beauty of metal
Gold inox G-Table is another objects which will be presented by Zieta at Rossana Orlandi Gallery. A custom made table, a bionic symbiosis of black granite with a leather texture and bionic legs resembling vines and roots.
New face of design icon
Plopp is a stool made of inflated metal that underwent authorial process of thermal coloring, which gave it a unique, golden tint.
Limited objects
Perfect harmony of thermally tinted steel with green Madagascar granite, together creating a light, expressive and slim console table. Rondo is a mirror that brings out the minimalist beauty of metal. As part of the limited edition, Rondo has been dyed with a special lacquer that gives it a unique and remarkable color.
Unique tabletops
Zieta Prozessdesign and Hoder consider product adaptation to individual needs, quality and utility nature of the products as the key elements in the business. Both companies have a mastery in forming the structure of extremely durable material – Zieta Prozessdesign in steel, Hoder in stones. Hence, owing to the cooperation with Hoder we were able to create unique objects.
“Design in Design”
Hotel ME Milan Il Duca is the protagonist of Fuorisalone during Milan Design Week 2018, thanks to unprecedented cooperation with Rossana Orlandi. The hotel is full of objects made by city’s most famous designers and architects. “Design in Design” is a path of unpublished works of emerging artists, personally chosen by Rossana Orlandi and it includes our unique Tafla mirrors.
