Works by Oskar Zięta, an architect, designer and creator of the FiDU technology of metal forming, are to be showcased as part of the second edition of the MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival 2019 in Szczecin, Poland. The new exhibition, titled “Crystals – Form and Light”, is to be a major part of this cross-disciplinary event following a special invitation from the organizers, the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin.

Oskar’s radical projects have broken the image of a mirror as a flat glass surface. After the Rondo and Tafla mirrors, the time has come for the Crystals, a collection of non-obvious, geometric and three-dimensional objects inspired by natural crystals, their proportions and multiplications.

Reflections on the notion of form led to the origins of the festival, which brings together different fields of art. The form, being an exceptionally broad concept in the context of art, is also key to Oskar’s work as he experiments with his own technology of stabilizing steel with compressed air to create daring and unique works.
